About Kris Lother
My animal companions have always been my friends, my partners in life, my confidants.  With soulful eyes and heads cocked they listened intently to me as I told them how wonderful they were, how important they were to me or, on occasion, how their mischievous behavior frustrated me.  Somehow I knew they understood me.  How wonderful it would be, I thought, if I, too, understood them.

With the loss of my dog Hannah, I came to realize it was indeed possible to hear what our animals had to say.  Through communicator Kate Reilly’s conversation with Hannah, it became undeniably clear to me that animals were capable of communicating with us. It was in Hannah’s message to me that a whole new world of possibilities began to open up.  This validation started me on my journey in speaking with animals.

I took Kate’s Communication With Animals workshop where I learned to quiet my mind and listen.  I will be forever grateful to Kate for sharing her knowledge and insights; and I have a deep respect for her wisdom, integrity and compassion.

I have been communicating with animals since 2002 and communicating with the animals at the Caring for Creatures animal sanctuary in Palmyra, Virginia for the past several years.  Words cannot express the depth of gratitude I feel for all of the sanctuary animals who have shared their voice with me, and I thank each one from the bottom of my heart.  I am especially grateful to Walter, a senior dog residing at the sanctuary.  We came together at a time when we needed each other most.

I look forward to assisting you and your animal companion share in this wonderful exchange of the heart and soul.
